About Corgis & Cowboys

Corgis & Cowboys is a unique collaboration between corgi mom Anita and Jim Stuckenberg, one of the last true American cowboy artists. Together, they blend a shared love of the West—its wide-open spirit, its honest work, and its deep connection to animals—bringing you both ranch-bred corgi puppies and authentic Western and equine art.

Where Art and Heart Meet

At Corgis & Cowboys, this partnership brings together fine art and fine dogs—bronze sculptures and paintings that honor the West’s heritage, and corgi puppies lovingly raised on the ranch. Whether you’re seeking a lifelong companion or a piece of living Western history, you’ll find the spirit of the American West woven into everything we do.

About Jim Stuckenberg

Renowned for his American Western and equine art, Jim Stuckenberg has spent a lifetime capturing the grit, grace, and realism of ranch life. His work spans bronze sculpture, watercolor, and oil, each piece reflecting a profound understanding of horses, cowboys, and the history of the American West.

Profoundly deaf since birth, Jim spent four years at CID learning to speak and lip-read before continuing on to high school and college, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in animal husbandry. His early jobs at racehorse farms throughout California strengthened both his horsemanship and his artistic eye—what began as simple doodles evolved into the highly respected works he is known for today.

Jim’s art is celebrated for its realism, historic accuracy, and storytelling, earning placement in some of the country’s most prestigious venues. His collectors have ranged from legendary actors to international heads of state, all drawn to the authenticity and quiet power of his work.
